KYETUME PARENTS SENIOR SECONDARY SCHOOL.

 

This is a Secondary school in the same village as Bright Stars Nursery & Primary School.

February 2007

So much has happened here since September. A fourth classroom has been built and is already occupied by Senior 4.

In October / November 10 O Level cndidates came to Masaka as our guests while they attended a local examination centre to take their O level exams. Now the results have been published! In Uganda the top 8 exam results are taken and marks added up then they are allocated into pass grades where 1 is the best (distinction) down to 4 (pass) and any thing above that is a fail.

Good News!!!

All the candidates passed their O Levels, 8 obtained Grade 4, 1 has a 3 and 1 at Grade 2. These are amazing results! One young lady was retaking her exams because last year she failed to pass, she was sick with malaria for most of the exam period this year, but she still passed.we are all very happy.

September 2006

At the start of the 3rd term 2006 the school moved into their new premises, 3 classrooms, office and reception! Everyone was so excited!! Here are pictures of the first day!

In October / November 2005 The first Candidates from Kyetume PSSS sat their O Level exams, Love in Action was please to be able to provide the accommodation and food for these students while they stayed in Masaka to take the exams.

Updated Information June 2006

We have now started building for the secondary school. The first phase was the toilets, they were completed at the beginning of June and now Angel has started building the first classroom and Office / library. Samuel the headmaster / director is so excited that one evening he arrived at the site with a goat for the builders dinner!
